Punjab Sub-Registrars Get Land Mutation Authority
Lahore: According to the news source, the Punjab Land Revenue Authority (PLRA) has agreed to provide sub-registrars the authority to simultaneously approve and issue register certificates for land changes.
The tehsildar and Assistant Director of Land Revenue (ADLR) used to be in charge of this.

Up to 20 sub-registrars would be permitted to issue register and mutation certificates in the initial phase, according to the information provided. Sub-registrars will be given access to an internet system that would help the officials and speed up the approval of land mutations.

According to Mr. Moazzam Iqbal Sipra, Director General (DG) of PLRA, this breakthrough will help individuals with their concerns. Previously, obtaining the register and mutation certifications required going from pillar to post.
