RCB Completes PKR 1 Billion Development Projects
Umar Farooq Ali Malik, the executive officer of the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB), reportedly indicated that the board had completed development projects totaling PKR 1 billion.
During a briefing, he informed Station Commander Brig Ijaz Qamar Kiani that the projects involve the development of parking spaces, parks, and road maintenance. RCB has completed the following projects in the Rawalpindi cantonment area:
- Two parking spaces will be constructed between Saddar Carpeting of Kashmir Road and Adam Jee Road.
- Construction of Quranic Park at Sher Khan Chowk next to the Military Hospital
- Construction of Rumi Wall close to Rumi Park

The parks of the Quranic Park are reportedly ornamented with trees whose names appear in the Quran, such as figs and olives.
