RDA Shares Details on Revenue Collected in FY 2020-21
Recent reports indicate that the Rawalpindi Development Authority accumulated PKR 491 million in revenue during the fiscal year 2020-21.
The Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate, RDA, and Land Use and Building Control (LU&BC) Wing have exceeded their income goal of 335 million Pakistani rupees.

Unidentified official stated that the MU&BC Wing collected 341 million PKR during the current fiscal year, while the MP&TE Directorate generated 150 million PKR.
In compliance with the directives of RDA Director General Nadeem Ahmed Abro, he added that the RDA is taking stringent action against illegal construction and housing designs. Furthermore, 1,435 construction designs were submitted for approval by citizens, the biggest number in RDA’s history.

According to the spokesperson, penalties were imposed on violators and charges were brought against both commercial and residential illegal construction and illegal housing projects.
In addition, the spokesperson stated that the RDA director general praised the efforts and requested that the officials act impartially.
