Maintenance Departments Directed to Improve Capital’s Road
Islamabad: According to the most recent reports, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has instructed the road maintenance department to complete repair and restoration work by the end of the week. Upon receiving the order, the road department immediately began restoring roads throughout the nation’s capital.
Reports indicate that maintenance work has begun in places such as F-5, Agha Khan Road, 7th Avenue, G-7, G-5, F-7, Serena Chowk, and Soharwardi Road. The rehabilitation work entails patching, painting curbstones, and identifying traffic lanes. In addition, CDA has asked the relevant agency to repair and install street lighting in a number of key markets, parking lots, and roadways. CDA has allocated cash for this purpose.

To promote culture and enhance the city’s beauty, the regulatory authority has also mandated the painting of murals and cultural designs on several bus terminals and underpasses.
According to the sources, the environment department has began the planting of flowers and ornamental plants as part of the Prime Minister’s Clean & Green initiative.
