Rs 10Bn LSM-Narang Mandi-Narowal Road Project Approved
In its 40th meeting of the current fiscal year, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Wednesday approved the construction of the Lahore Sialkot Motorway (LSM) link Highway (4-lanes) connecting LSM to Narang Mandi and Narowal (Length 81.75 km) at an estimated cost of Rs 10 billion.

Also included in the project was the Narowal Eastern Bypass-District Narowal. On this occasion, the Planning & Development Board secretary ordered that all development projects be completed in accordance with their respective deadlines. In addition, he issued orders to expedite road construction projects.
The meeting was also attended by members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries of concerned departments, the senior chief (Coordination), and other senior provincial department representatives.

Also included in the project is the Narowal Eastern Bypass in the Narowal district. The secretary of the Planning and Development Board directed the concerned officers to expedite work on all development projects to ensure timely completion, adding, “Timelines for each phase of all development projects should be determined.
