RS 440 Million Projects Approved for Bannu University
Lakki Marwat: According to Mohammad Nawaz Khan, director of planning at the university, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has authorised development plans of Rs 440 million for the University of Science and Technology, Bannu.

Speaking with the relevant authorities, he revealed that Prof Dr. Kheruzzaman, vice-chancellor of the university, had contacted the provincial government to request clearance for a number of development projects.
He added that sufficient funds would be spent on the installation of power transformers, water supplies, and construction of drainage systems in the university. “The new schemes include construction of the first and second floors of the academic block, over one kilometre road, and an overhead water tank,” he said.

He said that after the uplift projects were finished, the university’s departments of medicine, law, and petroleum and civil engineering will be able to begin operations.
