RS 4.5bn Packages for Areas Affected by Mohmand Dam
Peshawar: A Rs4.5 billion special development plan for Mohmand and other surrounding districts affected by the under-construction Mohmand Dam has been finalized.

Mohmand district has been allotted 86 percent of the whole development package, Bajur eight percent, and Malakand and Charsadda each three percent, according to a statement.
Similarly, Rs 700 million would be used to widen and repair a 30-kilometer road in the district’s Prang Ghar tehsil. A six-kilometer road would be developed in Pindiali tehsil of Mohmand tribal district at a cost of Rs 75 million.
The gathering was informed that a variety of 60 million rupee sports initiatives were also recommended for the district. In addition, a variety of fast impact projects will be executed as part of the 175 million rupee development package.

The chief minister instructed the relevant departments to draft a thorough action plan with realistic deadlines to enable timely implementation of the proposed development initiatives.
