RS 74m Construction Project Started for Cricket Stadium Gujrat
According to our sources, the provincial sports department of Gujrat commenced construction of a cricket stadium along Bhimber Road on Saturday at a cost of PKR 74 million (March 5).

According to the games office’s (unnamed) authority, the Punjab government has allocated PKR 59 million for the cricket stadium in Gujrat. Initially, the arena was necessary for the 2017-18 annual progress package. Despite this, the project was postponed for questionable reasons.

Currently, the games division has commenced construction of a cricket stadium on 89 kanals of land in front of the Government College for Women in Marghzar Colony. The project includes a cricket pitch, cricket equipment, floodlights, a building, a 250 KVA backup generator, and a waste management framework.
