Samsung with its premium product, Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition has been launched along with its foldable option with an enhanced camera and lovely design. The reports circulating in the media regarding its more variants, especially affordable ones, might not be happening anymore.

According to Sammobile, which cites as an anonymous Samsung executive, Samsung currently has no intentions of producing a less costly version of the Galaxy Z Fold.
Below is the official statement of Samsung’s executive:
“Instead of offering an elite product, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition was created to increase your alternatives. You can choose, based on your preferences. We don’t currently have any plans to launch a different product at a reduced cost.”
This does not imply that Samsung did not think about the potential. There were rumors earlier this year that Samsung had postponed plans for a rumored Z Fold 6 FE, which might be a contender for a more reasonably priced foldable device.
According to reports, Samsung’s speculated Z Fold 6 FE has been scrapped in part because of unsatisfactory results from an early production run. Reports state that the test devices were unable to appreciably increase the dimensions & thickness that rival Chinese-made foldable phones.
Furthermore, a slight disadvantage was the lack of a stylus digitizer, which could not support the S pen. These concerns, in the market turbulence caused Samsung to discontinue the product.
Hence, there is still confusion whether the Galaxy Z Fold will be more reasonably priced in the near future or not.
