Separate Project Planned to Beautify Rawal Dam Interchange
Islamabad: The municipal management have made the decision to start a separate project to spruce up Rawal Dam Interchange by constructing a hanging arch-style bridge with lighting.

According to CDA authorities, the junction will be built with a hanging bridge in the shape of an artificial arch to lend beauty to the overall project.
On Park Road, a pedestrian bridge will also be built. The additional work, according to CDA officials, will be done through separate tenders.
The project, which cost Rs 1.17 billion, was officially opened by Prime Minister Imran Khan in July of last year.
However, because the project was started without the environment agency’s consent, the CDA issued the work order for it three months later, in October. The project was later given environmental agency approval.
He said that proposals for the project had been submitted by the National Logistics Cell (NLC), the joint venture of Maaksons, Calson, and Maqbool Associates, and Habib Construction Company, which built the G-7/G-8 junction.
