Shafqat lays foundation stone of NCA graduate block
At National College of Arts, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood laid the foundation stone for a new graduate block and also inaugurated a digital studio (NCA).
In his remarks at the event held in this regard, the minister stated that the construction of the additional block will allow more students to enroll at the NCA. Shafqat Mahmood stated that no previous government has allocated as much funding to higher education as the current administration.
The federal education minister congratulated the students and faculty members on receiving university status while expressing delight over the establishment of a state-of-the-art digital studio lab. He asserted that the NCA held a notable position among art institutions not only in Pakistan, but worldwide.

Regarding the closure of schools due to coronavirus, he stated, “The current situation does not warrant the closure of schools.” The shutdown of educational facilities as a result of the coronavirus pandemic has already caused significant disruptions to students’ studies.”
