Islamabad: The Public-Private Partnership Authority (PPPA) has accepted the bids for the building of the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) and Kharian-Rawalpindi Motorway (KRM) on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) terms.

According to news sources, the Sukkur-Hyderabad (M-6) highway project entails the building of a 306-kilometer green field-controlled access route at the cost of approximately PKR 307 billion. The winning bidder has promised to provide a guaranteed revenue share of PKR 408 billion over 22 years.

As estimated value, the project will produce PKR 918 billion in corporate taxes.
