There is No Tax on Paper Used in Quran Publications

In the Federal Budget 2021-22, the government has proposed an exemption on the import of high-quality art and printing paper for the printing and publication of the Holy Quran.

This was mentioned by Minister of Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin during his Budget Address at Parliament House.

Part of our religion is extending the paper exemption for Holy Quran printing and dissemination on durable and high-quality paper.
