Islamabad: The Federal Government would distribute an Rs. 7.492 billion Ramadan relief package through utility outlets. The federal government has declared that the package will start on March 4 and that the holy month of fasting, which begins on March 11, is quickly approaching.
The BISP was asked to register more citizens for the Ramazan package by the Utility Stores Corporation.

Additionally, the government has planned to allocate 145 million rupees for print and electronic media awareness initiatives. The public will get subsidies on 19 products, based on USC rates since 1991.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Industries, it is providing subsidized goods to over 26 million families and hopes to reach over 12 million.
