Xiaomi has begun selling the Redmi Watch 6 and Redmi Watch 6 NFC in global markets, several months after their original debut in China in October.
Display and Design
The Redmi Watch 6 comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED display featuring a 60Hz refresh rate and 324ppi pixel density, along with ultra-slim 2mm symmetrical bezels.
Xiaomi claims the screen delivers an 82% screen-to-body ratio and can reach up to 2,000 nits peak brightness. It also supports always-on display and raise-to-wake functionality.
In terms of design, the smartwatch uses a 9.9mm unibody build with an aluminum alloy frame. Xiaomi says it is 1.4mm thinner than the previous generation while also improving durability. It includes a raised stainless steel dial and an additional physical shortcut button for quick controls.
Battery and Performance
The device is equipped with a 550mAh battery, offering:
- Up to 24 days (light usage)
- Around 12 days (normal usage)
- Up to 7 days (heavy usage)
It also features a linear motor with more than 20 vibration patterns, designed for notifications, alarms, and health alerts.

Fitness and Health Tracking
The Redmi Watch 6 supports 150+ sports modes and comes with 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and outdoor use.
It also includes independent GNSS positioning with dual L1 antennas and support for five satellite systems for improved location tracking.
