NPHP Projects Registration Process Started in Punjab Tehsils
Lahore: According to news reports, the Naya Pakistan Housing & Development Authority has launched Phase 3 of the inexpensive Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme in 12 tehsils and 11 districts of Punjab (NAPHDA). Between February 28 and March 9, candidates and applicants who qualify may submit their applications online.

The application can reportedly be submitted online at https://naphda.gov.pk or in person at the office of the Tehsil Assistant Commissioner. In the province, the following tehsils are accepting applications for the low-cost housing program:

The eligibility requirements for submitting an application are as follows:
- The project is open to all Pakistanis with a valid computerized national identity card (CNIC). No application fee is necessary.
- By March 9, 2022, all applications must be filed electronically via the NAPHDA website.
- The office of the Assistant Commissioner (AC) of the corresponding tehsil is where applications must be submitted.
- Each applicant is limited to a single housing unit
- Only citizens who do not own land or home may apply for a dwelling unit.

Rules and Regulations:
- The shortlisted applicants will receive a 300,000 PKR stipend.
- The applicant will receive a subsidized loan that must be returned between five to twenty years.
- The shortlisted applicants will be awarded a house/apartment following a comprehensive verification.
- In addition to the PKR 300,000 government subsidy, the successful candidate will be asked to give a 10% initial sum or down payment and sign up for the subsidized loan with the bank.
