ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has completed the demarcation of government land in Mouza Malpur near Murree Road, paving the way for a possible anti-encroachment operation against unauthorised occupation.
The demarcation exercise was conducted to establish clear boundaries between state-owned land and privately owned properties. The findings will help officials identify structures located on government land and determine where enforcement action may be required.

Mouza Malpur, also known as Malpur Rajgan or Phulwari, is a historic village situated near Rawal Lake along the Murree Road corridor. Its location makes the identification and protection of public land an important part of Islamabad’s land management efforts.
Following the demarcation, the CDA and the district administration are preparing for an operation to address encroachments identified during the process. Any action against unauthorised occupants is expected to be carried out in accordance with the law and the verified land boundaries.

However, the authorities have not announced a specific date for the operation or disclosed the total area of land identified for recovery. The completion of demarcation does not itself confirm that any land has already been reclaimed.
The next step will involve reviewing the findings and determining the areas requiring enforcement. The move reflects the CDA’s efforts to protect government property and address illegal encroachments along the Murree Road area of Islamabad.
