China Keens to Collaborate with Pakistan’s Furniture Industry
Islamabad: According to news sources, the Commercial Counsellor of Pakistan in China, Badaruz Zaman, claimed on January 18 (Tuesday) that various Chinese enterprises are interested in collaborating with the Pakistani furniture sector.

The partnership will play a crucial role in the expansion of Pakistan’s furniture industry and its exports.
According to the article, at an online conference, Zaman said that the second phase of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) had been finalized, allowing 6,000 goods to be duty-free for the next ten years. In addition, he noted that Pakistan’s exports to China had climbed by 70 percent over the past three years, indicating a positive trend.

Zhong Ling, Chinese Deputy Director of the Dezhou Standing Committee and Director of the Dezhou Furniture chain, spoke at the event and said that there is a great deal of opportunity for cooperation in the furniture industry. She also noted that the cooperation between business chambers, entities, and other components is being evaluated in an effort to develop bilateral relationships.
