FBR Directs Offices to Stay Open on June 27-28 to Boost Tax Collection

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that all its field formations will remain open with normal working hours on June 27 and 28, 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) to support the collection of duties and taxes.

According to an official notification issued on Friday, the FBR has also directed extended working hours on June 29 and 30, 2026 (Monday and Tuesday) to maximize revenue collection ahead of the fiscal year closing.

The directive applies to all field offices, including Large Taxpayer Offices (LTOs), Medium Taxpayer Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) across the country, which have been instructed to strictly follow the revised schedule.
