Free Passes to Workers by Pakistan Railways to Digitize
In order to give free travel tickets to its employees and retirees, Pakistan Railways has opted to use a transparent digital approach.

Pakistan Railways (PR) has committed to establish a transparent mechanism for issuing free travel passes to its employees and retirees. According to sources, the travel passes through a digital system have been determined.
According to sources, the National Database and Registration Authority will provide travel passes to the families of railway personnel (NADRA).
It was discovered that the passes were handwritten and could be used manually by anyone.

PR acquired NADRA services for the issuance of 180,000 travel passes for 60,000 railroad employees. NADRA will also prepare government passes for the 132,000 retired railroad employees.
