German Investors to Invest in Auto & Aviation Sectors of Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, January 27, 2023- According to German authorities, German businesses are looking forward to investment opportunities in the auto and aviation sectors.
According to Oliver Oehms, the chief executive officer of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce, German corporations are eager to explore joint ventures and investment opportunities in many sectors of Pakistan, including the automobile and aviation industries. The executive spoke at a session hosted by the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT). A few industries, including aviation, communications, automobile, dairy, and services, had attracted the attention of German businesspeople, according to him.

He informed the attendees that a number of fruitful business-to-business contacts were held in Karachi and Islamabad during the German delegation’s visit, which he described as a positive development. He hoped the delegation’s visit to Pakistan would deepen ties between the two nations’ private sectors.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, president of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that the German businessmen’s visit to Pakistan at Covid-19 demonstrated their eagerness to forge solid economic ties. He informed the team on Pakistan’s business potential and emphasized the opportunities for joint ventures in a variety of industries, including infrastructure development, housing and construction, aviation, food processing, automotive, and information technology. He told German investors that the ICCI will do all possible to connect them with their Pakistani counterparts.
