This can also spare households and businesses the expense of installing new panels. Radiative cooling is the technique that researchers are using to make ageing solar panels operate in the dark. In addition, as the sun sets, the Earth cools, releasing heat into the atmosphere. The technique aids in producing a temperature gradient between the surface of the panels and the surrounding air.

We can later attach thermoelectric generators to the panels, according to the researchers. This will make it possible to use the energy produced by radiative cooling. The researchers have previously taken the idea into consideration. A similar approach was used by scientists and researchers at the University of California in 2020 to combat solar panels.
