KARACHI: The Mosamiyat Flyover in Karachi is approaching completion and is expected to open for traffic soon. The project has entered its final stage as authorities prepare to make the facility operational.
The flyover is being developed as part of the Karachi Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. It is located at the Mosamiyat intersection, where the new structure is expected to provide an additional route for motorists.
TransKarachi recently shared an update on the project, indicating that the flyover is nearing its inauguration. Once opened, it will carry mixed traffic and provide another option for vehicles travelling through the area.
The new facility is expected to improve traffic movement around the intersection. It may also help reduce pressure on existing routes, particularly during busy hours.
