Multan: According to Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government’s historic Kisan Card programme will revolutionize the nation’s agricultural industry and bring farmers prosperity.

The prime minister stated that the move would aid in the eradication of poverty for about five million farmers throughout the nation while speaking at the first part of Kisan Cards distribution event for farmers on Monday in Multan.
According to the prime minister, farmers will receive discounted fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides through this card, in addition to low-interest loans and reimbursement for damaged crops in the event of a natural disaster.

According to the prime minister, using Chinese technology will increase agricultural productivity as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiative.
According to the prime minister, farmers would receive training to boost agricultural output. He said that Rs 40 billion had been set aside to boost milk production in the nation. Storage facilities and food processing facilities will be built in order to reduce losses of grains, fruits, and vegetables.

According to Buzdar, the government has launched the Agricultural Emergency Program with a budget of Rs 300 billion, and it is being carried out quickly.
