Piyala Lake of Indus River Under Development for Tourist
The government of Punjab launched the construction of the Piayla lake and the Indus River near Ghazi Ghat for tourism purposes in Multan.

The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TBCOP) and DG Khan Deputy Manager Mr. Sheikh Ejaz informed the agency that Chief Minister Mr. Usman Buzdar has assembled a team of tourism experts, archeologists, and TDCP officials to conduct a survey and prepare a report for the development of the lake. The location will be perfect for leisure activities for nearby inhabitants. Piyala Lake will receive a number of new amenities, including a boating area, walking route, and pavilion, among others.

The lake is known to attract tourists because, over the winter and summer, its water changes from blue to green. However, the additional attributes will also help attract overseas travelers. Sheikh Ejaz also mentioned that migratory birds frequented the lake frequently. The report will be presented to Mr. Usman Buzdar, the prime minister, shortly. Mr. Naveel Ahmed would oversee the completion of the development activities at the site. Mr. Commissioner would be assisted by Saifullah (tourism expert), Saqib (architect), and TDCP officers Ishar Iqbal and Asim Raza.
