RS 100 Billion Investment in Lahore’s CBD in First Year by PM
Islamabad: According to media sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan (PM) was briefed on the 100 billion PKR investment in the Central Business District for the first year on Wednesday, December 15th (CBD).
Participants at the conference were informed in great detail that progress on the CBD and Ravi Riverfront Urban Development (RRUD) projects is swift. This land acquisition will soon be finalized.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, presiding over a meeting with the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and the CBD, issued an order to expedite the land transfer procedure. Additionally, he underlined that the urban development initiative was initiated for investment reasons.

The project would boost the socioeconomic status of the local populace, said Prime Minister Khan. Participants were advised that the RRUDP master plan included 1,900 low-cost dwellings.
In addition, the Prime Minister stated that the government had begun to generate money from dead capital. Prime Minister Khan discussed the details of the CBD project and highlighted the usage of eco-friendly materials in the construction work.

Chairman of the Naya Pakistan Housing Development Authority (NAPHDA) was present during the meeting. General Anwar Ali Haider, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Shehbaz Gill, Ministerial Information Fawad Ahmed, and Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal. Some financial advisors, include Shaukat Tarin and other high-ranking figures.
