PLRA Adds PKR 7.4 Billion to Public Exchequer
According to a news source, the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) in Lahore reported PKR 7,4 billion in revenue to the public coffers under the heading of “land transfer and management” on March 22.

Within the first eight months (July-Feb.) of the current fiscal year, this sum was deposited (FY21).
According to Ms. Nadia, 152 land record centers initially received the computerization of land records at the Tehsil level two years ago. More than 5,000 centers now have access to the same facility.
They include 28 commercial banks, 60 ganoongoi satellite centers, more than 2,800 NADRA e-facilitation facilities, and 10 e-service centers.

According to the spokesperson, these measures will bring Punjab’s automated system up to par with international standards, and the relevant institution will take additional measures to offer easy services to residents of the province.
