SHC Orders Payment of Dues to Retired KDA Employees
Karachi: The Sindh High Court has ordered the authorities to pay the pensions of retired Karachi Development Authority (KDA) personnel within two months.
A division bench led by Justice Irfan Saadat Khan ruled that the amount of grant approved by the chief minister to settle the post-retirement dues of retried KDA employees be taken up urgently by the chief secretary and finance secretary, and after fulfilling the formalities, be released to the KDA within a month.

Afterwards, the KDA will disburse the funds to petitioners/pensioners within one month of fulfilling codal processes, the statement noted.
In the interim, the court ordered that the sum already available in the pension account of the KDA be disbursed to the petitioners within 15 days.
