Wyndham Hotels and Resorts to Cash on Tourism Potential

According to media sources, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts plans to develop six new Ramada hotels in major cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Hyderabad, and Rawalpindi and create a ‘Howard Johnson’ hotel in order to capitalise on Pakistan’s massive tourism industry.

Panos Loupasis, vice president of development for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa, stated to the media that the business intends to attract new traveller categories to Pakistan by investing in this “strategic market.”

Under the terms of the recently-signed agreement, a Howard Johnson by Wyndham hotel would be developed in Islamabad’s Blue Area, offering a variety of amenities.

Here are the locations where six new Wyndham Hotels & Resorts franchised Ramada Hotels will be developed in Pakistan:

The Ramada by Wyndham Murree Lower Topa Resort will be situated at Lower Topa, close to the mountain resort’s verdant forests.
Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Islamabad Bahria Town will be constructed near the entrance to the Bahria Town development on Main G T Road.
Ramada by Wyndham Rawalpindi Bahria Springs in Intellectual Village (Phase 7) Is to be established by 2025; projected to be developed as part of Rawalpindi’s River Courtyard.
The Ramada by Wyndham Rawalpindi Ayub Park will be constructed in close proximity to Ayub National Park and Rawalpindi Golf Club.
The Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Lahore Cooper Road will be situated adjacent to the Punjab Assembly and Mall Road.
The Ramada by Wyndham Hyderabad Qasimabad mixed-use complex will be constructed in the city’s central location along the bustling Jamshoro Road.

Wyndham now operates five hotels in the country, including the Ramada by Wyndham Islamabad, Ramada by Wyndham Multan, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Karachi, and Ramada by Wyndham Karachi Creek.
