Assurance of Tax Relief for Realtors Through Special Provision
Announcement of giving tax relief to property dealers in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD, June 24, 2022- According to Finance Minister Miftah Ismail, realtors and non-resident Pakistanis will receive tax relief, (NRPs). The relief will be provided in terms of Capital Gains Tax on real estate assets of non-resident Pakistanis.

In Islamabad, there was a meeting between the finance minister and the Estate Agents of the Defense Housing Society on June 21, 2022. A special delegation of DHA Estate Agents asked the finance minister to take into account revisiting the current tax on realtors and enacting new regulations to assist the realtors, who are vital to the country’s economy.

The delegation’s requests were heard by Miftah Ismail, and he gave them the assurance that the government would take necessary action to give tax relief to realtors.
