Land Acquisition of LDA City’s Jinnah Sector to be Finalized Soon
Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to complete the compulsory land purchase for the LDA City Jinnah Sector, according to news sources. Director-General of the LDA Ahmad Aziz Tarar has received a budget allocation summary of PKR 1 billion in this aspect.

During a meeting presided over by LDA Chief Engineer I Israr Saeed, the authority would reportedly conclude the compulsory land acquisition procedure, bringing relief to the project’s 11,000 allottees and file holders. According to LDA City Director Khurram Yaqoob, Jinnah Sector Blocks G, M, J, Q, and E will benefit from land acquisition.
According to the study, the LDA collected 2.20 billion PKR in taxes during the last six months of the current fiscal year, but it needs additional funds to acquire land for the same sector.

It is important to note that LDA has already acquired 80% of all land for the sector. However, the land purchase was put on hold due to a shortage of funds.
