Pakistan Permits the Shipment of Poultry to Afghanistan
Pakistan has lifted its restriction on the export of poultry and poultry products to Afghanistan. Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Ambassador Mohammad Sadiq, confirmed the news via Twitter.

According to the official broadcaster, he also added that Pakistan is working with significant poultry firms to invest in joint ventures with Afghan traders in order to increase the Afghan chicken output to self-sufficiency levels.
He said that it would not only reduce the price of poultry in Afghanistan but also ensure that the general public has access to fresh chicken and eggs.

Earlier this month, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) eliminated the sales tax on fresh fruits imported from Afghanistan.
