Niger to Launch SEZs for Pakistan
Islamabad: Gabo Sabo Moctar, Niger’s Minister of Commerce and Trade, stated that his government planned to build special economic zones (SEZs) for Pakistan in an effort to attract investment in the infrastructure sector in Africa.

The primary objective is to form a cooperative working group for the exchange of expertise at both the policy and operational levels on the establishment of SEZs, so that both nations can establish long-term trade partnerships.
FPCCI Chairman Qurban Ali hoped that Pakistani investors and exporters will find vast potential for economic activity in Niger and also establish connections with regional economies in Africa.
According to him, Pakistan and Niger have extensive economic and commercial ties, and it would be necessary in the future to investigate new avenues for expanding their trade volume.

Haji Ghulam Ali, previous president of the FPCCI, discussed the various facets of connections with African nations and stated that Africa is a place with potential for future trade. He stated that local businessmen are eager to trade and invest in new markets.
